Long activity

In groups, research and prepare short (10-minute or less) presentations on:

1. the roaring 20's
2. flappers
3. prohibition
4. 1929 Wall Street crash
5. the Great Depression

Presentations will be given in the order above weekly over four weeks, with the last two in the fourth week.

Short activity

1. Groups are assigned one of the topics above
2. Groups are given one hour, or one class period, to go to the computer and get as much information on their topic as they can
3. During the second hour, groups give a 'presentation' on what their topic
